Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme 2021

We have been nominated for the Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme 2021 by the Ministère de la Transition écologique [Ministry of Ecological Transition] with Laurent Davezies. We would like to congratulate the AUC (Caroline Poulin, Djamel Klouche and François Decoster) who were awarded the Grand Prix by the jury.

“Pierre-Alain Trévelo and Antoine Vigier-Kohler are urban architects who founded TVK in 2003. They are known for their work on infrastructures, with projects around the Paris Ring Road such as the Porte Pouchet and the redevelopment of the Place de la République. In the same spirit, they are winners of the Places du Grand Paris, and have carried out architectural and urban projects such as Clichy-Batignolles, Porte de Montreuil, Éole-Évangile and Garonne-Eiffel in Bordeaux, but also internationally, including Brussels. They have just published La Terre est une architecture [The Earth is architecture], a book that takes a critical and forward-looking look at the ways in which the Earth is being developed. It accompanies the monumental installation presented at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale.”
